The client, a professor of economics (and author of ”Funky Business”), had bought an entire apartment building in a secluded but very cental part of Stockholm overlooking the Stockholm harbour. The building is early 20th century neoclassical. Three of the floors were turned into the owner’s private home with direct access to a garden. The spaces had made up several apartments and had already been changed numerous times over the decades. When converting it into a new entity most walls etc. were stripped down, while carefully leaving and restoring original floors, windows, radiators.
