Each of Tsubaki’s five bowls have in turn five sides. They also each have a depression in their centres that guide the next one toward the middle. The stacked bowl set forms a flower motif . Tsubaki means ‘rose’ in Japanese.

These pieces are handcrafted from pure tin, in Takaoka, Japan, using intricate metal casting techniques. The collaboration was made possible through the Japan Creative initiative.
